Exfoliation: An exfoliation can be done in the morning/afternoon before or while you shower. It eliminates dead skin and improve blood circulation. An added benefit is that the gentle pressure is calming to the nervous system.

Toner: Toners are meant to remove all remaining traces of oil, makeup and dirt, it is up to you to skip this step.

Moisturize: seal moisture into skin

Eye creams: to delay the signs of aging (to me, this step is the most important of skin care)

Apply Sunscreen for day time
